Technology Entrepreneur Center announces that Fall Charm School registration is open.

TEC’s Charm School for Engineers is a unique opportunity for students to learn indispensable skills and techniques crucial to succeeding in a professional environment. TEC offers two full-day Charm School events each year; one in the fall, and one in the spring semester, each covering different topics.

This semester’s Charm School will take place SEPTEMBER 26 from 8:00am- 4:30pm at the Activities and Recreation Center (ARC), MP room 6 &7.

Topics include: personal branding, business wardrobe, office finesse, telephone etiquette, electronic communication, business meals, finding a job, desk manners, and conversation & networking. We have a stellar panel of guest speakers lined up to discuss these topics, including business development managers, social media strategists, marketing directors, creative officers, assistant deans, software engineers, lead architects, and even a professional image consultant.

A ticket to the event costs only $20, and includes a continental breakfast, a formal business lunch, and a chance to practice your networking skills at a reception with light refreshments after the event.
