The University of Illinois and Olin College co-sponsored yesterday’s Summit on the Engineer of the Future at Olin College. iFoundry co-director David E. Goldberg helped open the summit with his remarks, Lonely Dots, Dot Connecting & the Engineer of the Future. Download the remarks in pdf form here.
iFoundry is assembling a student delegation to participate in the Summit on the Engineer of the Future 2.0 (EOTF 2.0) March 31 – April 1, 2009 and for special activities on April 2, for Olin in Action day. Participating students will travel to Boston to meet and learn from fellow students at Olin and explore new ideas in engineering education with educational leaders from across the country. Interested students who wish to join this delegation of enthusiastic and dedicated students from across the college, and receive funding, are asked to submit a brief application of interest form (applications closed). by February 25, 2009.
